Chick-til-A appreciation day

Just a quick image to peoples reaction to recent statements in support of a traditional marrage between a man and a woman. The line waiting to get in the parking lot of Chick-fil-A in High Pont, NC on Wednesday, Aug 1, 2012. The minority always cries the loudest, but the majority always get things done. If only the minority would quit thinking of only themselves and holding the rest of us back.

Took some time to take a walk around Kernersville, NC and shoot with my V1 for a bit.

Check out a little of what I saw.

I have not done any long exposure stuff lately, so I decided try my hand at it again.  I will be making more of these in the future with better composition.  This exposure consists of five 15 min. exposures (ISO 200, F/4)

I shot this inside the city limits of Kernersville, NC so I was suprised that I was able to get so many stars with all the street lights everywhere.  Check it out!

I recently made a trip to Charleston, SC for a short vacation over the labor day weekend. This was personally my first visit to the city, so I was not sure what to expect. I had heard a lot of pleasant experiences from people, so I was definatly looking forward to it.

First we stopped by the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point. This was the second leg of a ship interest, after just visiting the USS North Carolina a couple weeks before.

Here are a hand full of images from the ship.

Work Is Not Always Pretty

In my spare time around the studio I shoot some pictures to play with my equipment to continue to get to know it better as well as continuing to look at light and composition. Here are a few that I took during breaks and down time.

Being work has slowed, we have the time to get to some much needed cleaning and painting to get the studio back into shape. Here are a few that I found interesting.
