Took some time to take a walk around Kernersville, NC and shoot with my V1 for a bit.
Check out a little of what I saw.

I have not done any long exposure stuff lately, so I decided try my hand at it again. I will be making more of these in the future with better composition. This exposure consists of five 15 min. exposures (ISO 200, F/4)
I shot this inside the city limits of Kernersville, NC so I was suprised that I was able to get so many stars with all the street lights everywhere. Check it out!

My family and I made our annual trip to the mountains of NC to pick out the perfect Christmas tree. This is especially exciting since this is my first Christmas with my wife Amanda.
We started the day off with a big breakfast from Olympic Restaurant in Kernersville and headed up hwy 421 toward Sparta, NC. We decided to bring our dog Lucy along for our Christmas portrait at the tree farm.
All went well, and we had a blast. Activities such as these raise the spirits of the short, cold days of winter. Here are a few images from the trip.
Here are a few photos from over Thanksgiving and a few from Black Friday.
Drove to Britol, TN yesterday to attend a funeral of a dear friend. I made photos along the way, here are a few.
A few images from my week.
These are just a few images from this past week with the V1.
Hello again! This is my first post in over a year with hopefully many more to come.
I recently purchased the new series that Nikon has released, the Nikon1 V1. I have been shooting normal everyday things for two days now, and am impressed and happy as of now. A lot of the options you are used to having with a pro Nikon D-SLR are available in the V1.
Here are a few images from my time with the camera.
I recently made a trip to Charleston, SC for a short vacation over the labor day weekend. This was personally my first visit to the city, so I was not sure what to expect. I had heard a lot of pleasant experiences from people, so I was definatly looking forward to it.
First we stopped by the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point. This was the second leg of a ship interest, after just visiting the USS North Carolina a couple weeks before.
